Effective September 17, 2026
You may fund a campaign only for a source you are authorized to represent and whose ownership Menuest has verified. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and continued availability of that source and its menu information.
A campaign may only move a source card already naturally present for a matching menu item. It does not add results, duplicate cards, or change menu-item alternatives, images, text, IDs, or the organic order underneath the promoted card. At most one source is promoted for each menu-item result. There is no page-wide or per-business cap on the number of results that may be promoted. If a visitor manually changes sorting, the advertisement label and styling are removed and the organic order is restored. An item-specific campaign remains attached to the exact selected item if that item is renamed or otherwise edited. Promotion does not change which same-name alternative is displayed first within the source indicator.
The minimum prepaid purchase is $10 and each Checkout is limited to $100. A source may hold no more than $500 of unspent advertising value. Any menu item campaigns use one credit per qualified view at $0.10; item-specific campaigns use one credit per qualified view at $0.20. Each successful payment creates a separate funding lot. Menu-item results are considered in their normal ranked order. For each result, an eligible source not yet promoted earlier on that page is preferred. Among those unused eligible sources, a matching item-specific campaign is preferred over an any menu item campaign. Earlier payment wins within the same campaign type. If no unused eligible source qualifies, a previously promoted source may be promoted again using that same item-specific-first, then earlier-payment order. This is a placement preference, not a page-wide or per-business promotion cap. For the menu item whose view is being billed, a source's eligible item-specific funding is used before its any menu item funding. No credit is used when your source was already organically first.
A qualified view requires at least 50% of the promoted source card to remain visible continuously for about one second. A source is billed no more than once per visitor, per source, per UTC calendar day. This is a calendar-day limit from midnight to midnight UTC, not a rolling 24-hour window. For example, a view at 11:59 PM UTC may become eligible again shortly after 12:00 AM UTC on the next calendar day, subject to the other qualification rules. No credit is used when the source indicator is already organically first or closest to the menu item card for a search result.
Even if the same visitor sees your source promoted across several menu items and campaigns, we deduct at most one view credit for your source per UTC calendar day. For that source and visitor, the first qualifying view successfully recorded for billing during that UTC calendar day determines which viewed menu item's eligible campaign is charged. Campaign eligibility and funding priority are checked when that view is recorded. Only that campaign loses one view credit; the source's other campaigns are not each charged.
Advertising credits are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Credits do not expire while the associated source remains on Menuest. Campaign pauses, restaurant-name matching settings, temporary suspensions, and selected-item deletion do not expire credits. If a selected item is deleted, that item-specific campaign stops promoting and none of its remaining credits are used until they are retargeted to another exact item within the same source.
If the associated source is deleted by its owner or Menuest, all unused credits are forfeited and are non-refundable except where required by law. Payment, credit, impression, forfeiture, refund, and dispute records may be retained as an immutable audit history after source, item, or account deletion. A refund, reversal, or payment dispute processed outside Menuest disables the remaining associated credits.
Menuest does not guarantee impressions, clicks, sales, ranking duration, availability, or any business result. Eligibility depends on the source card naturally qualifying for the visitor's search and active sort.
This agreement supplements the Menuest Terms of Service. If this agreement conflicts with the Terms regarding promoted-source advertising, this agreement controls for that subject. Menuest may pause or end campaigns to protect the Service, users, or comply with law; unused credits remain governed by Section 4.
